About Us
The Educational Research Association of Zambia (ERAZ) is a professional association registered with the Registrar of Societies (Registration Number: ORS/102/35/32103). This means that ERAZ operates as an independent organisation with its vision, mission, moto, objectives and an array of activities.
Our vision is: To generate quality research and provide checks and balances in education across stakeholders.
AIMS: The objectives of the association are;
- To produce quality educational research to inform the nation and beyond.
- To equip novice researchers with relevant knowledge and skills in educational research in Zambia
- To host academic events regularly
- To provide checks and balances to educational providers in Zambia.
- To provide up to date data on educational issues in Zambia.
- To disseminate research output produced locally to the end users.
- To establish a self-sustaining educational research association in Zambia.
- To support and uphold the Zambian culture, identity and traditions.
- To aid some learning institutions with relevant teaching and learning resources where possible.
The association carries out diverse activities including international conferences (See the call above), seminars, symposium, media discussions, and policy brief.
